Hufak provides 100 cm * 100 cm sized spaces for artists to showcase their work, get together, talk politically and network.
This call is an invitation to all students and designers of all departments and institutions. We are calling on current students and Alumni alike for Contributions from both individuals and groups to present their art projects during a one day festival on 23.05.2019 at the Atrium.
We are setting the stage for the exhibition of art projects involving all media. Ranging from text, painting, drawing, sculpture poster, performance, documentary videos, short films, animations, audio- visual installation, digital media and interactive formats to theater projects.
The exhibiting artists are asked to present their works. In artist talks all participants will get the chance to talk about their projects and draw a connection to their ideas of how art projects could transfer the social and political factors in the current state.
The aim of our gathering is to raise awareness and speak up about the role of design in socio-political awareness, to question of social challenges and development.

The Festival includes Public Lecture and vvvv Workshop.
vvvv is a hybrid visual/textual live-programming environment for easy prototyping and development. It is designed to facilitate the handling of large media environments with physical interfaces, real-time motion graphics, audio and video that can interact with many users simultaneously. Responsible for its development is the vvvv group.

Lecture by David Brüll (Director and Founder NODE Forum for Digital Arts)
David Brüll is founder and director of the Frankfurt based NODE Forum for Digital Arts. With NODE and with his own studio he works across disciplines in the field of interaction and experience design curating and creating live experience spaces and interactive installations. Within his works he constantly seeks to develop new ways of human interactions and relationships by combining disciplines and technologies.
